Editorial Policy

Last updated: September 8, 2026

Cinema Plus is a magazine. “Curated” on this site means a named editor can finish the sentence “we selected this because…”. If we cannot, the URL does not go public. Read the long version in How our editors choose a title.

What we publish

  • Stand-alone essays that work without a video (guides, criticism, method, policy)
  • Named authors with biographies and beats
  • Publication and update dates on every essay
  • Video essays with review, lessons, interpretation, strengths, weaknesses, audience, and recommendations

What we unpublish

  • Slogan descriptions and test titles
  • Two pages that share the same synopsis or the same YouTube id
  • Empty category shelves
  • A separate /watch URL that cloned /content — those now redirect

Playback and copyright

We embed official YouTube players and link the same video on YouTube. We do not host MP4s. Thumbnails default to YouTube’s images for that id. Rights holders should email contact@cinemaplus.lol with the page URL. Full policy: embeds and copyright.

Advertising

Ads, if shown, appear after writing — never as the page. Ads are labeled. Editorial copy is not for sale by the paragraph. We will not ask an ad network to re-review the site until this magazine has been live long enough for strangers to read it.

Corrections

Cite the URL. We update the timestamp when we rewrite. Authors remain accountable for the byline.
