About Cinema Plus

A magazine about recap culture — not a video warehouse

Cinema Plus publishes original essays in Amharic and English about how Ethiopian and diaspora audiences watch world cinema through recaps. We also publish signed reviews of a small public catalog of YouTube recaps. The writing is the product. The player is optional and always an official embed.

Who operates Cinema Plus

Cinema Plus is operated by Noble Biru. Editors who sign pages are listed with biographies on our authors index. Support and rights requests go to contact@cinemaplus.lol. No public article requires a login.

What we do not do

• We do not host video files
• We do not publish empty categories or duplicate synopses
• We do not show tiny view counts that make the site look like a lab
• We do not duplicate a watch URL for every essay URL
