Avatar (2009) In the year 2154, humanity has traveled to the distant moon of **Pandora**, a breathtaking world filled with towering forests, floating mountains, and extraordinary wildlife. Beneath Pandora's beautiful landscape lies a rare and valuable mineral called **Unobtanium**, which humans hope to mine to solve Earth's growing energy crisis. However, the moon is already home to the **Na'vi**, a peaceful civilization that lives in harmony with nature and considers Pandora sacred. The story follows **Jake Sully**, a former Marine who has been left paralyzed from the waist down. After the unexpected death of his identical twin brother, Jake is offered the chance to take his brother's place in the **Avatar Program**. Scientists create genetically engineered bodies called **avatars**, allowing humans to remotely control Na'vi-like bodies and safely explore Pandora's dangerous environment. Although Jake initially accepts the mission for financial reasons and the promise of restoring his mobility, his journey soon changes his life forever. As Jake spends more time living through his avatar, he meets **Neytiri**, a skilled Na'vi warrior who saves his life in the forest.
