Closed versus serial

A movie recap can afford a full moral button. A series recap should tell you what this chapter changes in the map: a new debt, a new enemy, a first night in a cell. If part 2’s description is part 1 with a different thumbnail, we unpublish part 2 until someone writes the chapter.

Readers feel the clone even if they cannot name it. Search engines certainly can. We would rather have four honest series pages than twelve copies.

How we write serial essays

Selection notes mention the chapter. Lessons mention only what this chapter taught. Recommendations may point to the next chapter or to a standalone article on prison stories. They should not dump the whole season again.

A note to uploaders using our admin

Write 400 original characters minimum, unique to the file you are embedding. Name the work and the chapter. If you cannot, do not hit publish. Our public filter will hide it anyway.
